  1. i have a bunch of vcd files that i am trying to convert to MPG of MPG2 . i am using tmpge. The originals are excellent quality but the converted ones get all pixelized and choppy, though the audio remains perfect. i don't understand. I thought it would keep the quality or even better it a bit. please give me some ideas of what to try different.

    thanks

  4. Ok, _IF_ a DVD player is going to play another format than DVD itself, than 99.9999% of the time (or so), the first thing it'll play is startdard VCDs. If it doesn't do even that... Most likely, it won't do anything else.
