  2. I would suggest making small clips from each movie,use tmpeng to cut from the orginal say 5-10mins each then a simple matter of using any authoring software,DVD workshop etc and make menu's with chapters..
    I am sure there any many people here will guide you thru this or even beter suggestions..

  3. Yes u can....i am doing it myself.

    This is my way of doing it.
    Use smartripper & rip each VOB file as its own chapter.
    use this naming structure. I do it manually.
    VTS_01_1.vob {first chapter}
    VTS_01_2.vob {2nd chapter}
    and etc.....
    HOWEVER, i reach up to
    VTS_01_9.vob and get stuck because you can't name it VTS_01_10.vob because that will NOT WORK.

    If you are just doing 9 chapters, rip it like i said using smartripper, rename it like i said using the naming structure i described, and use IFOEDIT to create the necessary files for the DVD player to read [click on create IFO's and select the first file VTS_01_1.vob] burn with NEWEST version of Nero.

    I've done it and it works on my dvd player.

    I am not sure how to do the file name structure if you have say 15 files.
    But what i think is that merge the VOB files, 3 chapters into one VOB file.
    but i am not sure how to do that. ANY ADVICE ON THAT?
    OR i think u can start naming it
    VTS_02_0.vob and continue from there.....but it didn't work for me....
    any questions anybody?

  5. shouldnt be a problem if its not more than 4.35 gigs
    if ur going mpeg2 route, just have ifoedit create new
    directories,and it probably will rename ur vts.vobs
    for you,tried to put previews b4 movie b4 w/o menus
    and it worked ok,but i had no chapters,guess you
    could go longer route using tmpg or else,if u really
    wanted to.

  6. Maybe you can give a little more explanation...
    We are using .VOB files.
    What would we have to do if we want
    10 VOB files to burn onto a DVDR.
    I know it must be something with IFOEDIT to name these files
    properly but i can not figure it out. Plz give a little more detailed description on how to go about it.
    Also, is there a vob merger program that lets u keep the chapters separate?
