I am using the CDRDAO tools in VCDEasy to burn a SVCD image to disc. I have set the driver to "generic - MMC".
The first problem is only a slight annoyance, but there are always minor video glitches about a second before the end of the disc. Occurs on both my standalone DVD and when playing on the PC.
Secondly and more serious, sometimes the program locks up during the burn, and I have to reset the PC (and waste a CD-R). This happens quite often, about 25% of the time, even when I have closed screensaver, virus checker, etc.
I can burn this particular image fine with Nero, however Nero has screwed up other SVCDs, I think when there are chapter points in the cue file.
Anyone else experienced this? Any settings I can change in CDRDAO to improve reliability, or would I be better using other burning software?
