I am new to video capture and am in the process of purchasing a new system just for video capture and editing of home movies. The main question is which is the better capture device, Pinnacle studio deluxe ver 8 or the Dazzle systems? I like the Pinncale systems website that has a very good demo on the capture and edditing of a movie. Is it this easy?
I will need both analog and digital capture and then will eddit the video and craete a DVD.
The system I am looking at is as follows: any comments are appreciated
P4 2.5GHZ
Asus P4S8X MB with SIS648 Chipset
512DDR 333 ram
Pioneer DVD writer DVR-A05
80GB HD with 8 meg cache for video
40GB HD for system software and misc.
Geforce 4 MX440 64M video card
DVD-ROM drive
Floppy Drive
Windows 2000
Integrated sound card
Capture card Undecided Pinnacle or dazzle or ??
