I was wondering if any one could help me out. What is the best program for cuting/editing vcd or mpeg files. I usually use TMPeg but I have a lot of problems with the audio staying in sinc with the video. Is there a better one or maybe a better setting to put Tmpg in to correct this error? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Ps sorry about my horrible spelling

One quick thing I should specify that I do this to edit files in more than one spot like removing commercials so seperating the audio and video would be a pain. Just looking for the best one with good audio sinc.

  3. the one that i use is called mpeg2vcr. The only problem is that it pads the final mpeg substantially, so if filesize isn't an issue, then thats the one for you.

Truthfully mpegs just aren't made to be edited. If you're removing commercials, i'd capture to DIVx first, cause its easier to edit, then encode to mpeg.

  4. Sure, it pads a lot, but isn't it so, that excess data will go away, when remuxing to VCD? I myself am using for DVD and no pading problems - I get 100 MB more from MPEG2VCR than from nanoCosm, but resulting VOBs are exactly the same size.
