    Hi all,i was wondering if anybody could tell me if there is a program that would let me take parts off various dvd's and put them on on disc, i.e. songs from movies such as movies from the 50's, i hope someone can help, and i hope you understand what i mean lol

    Use any ripper software to select the segments you want to keep.

    Then the simplest way is to use a dvd authoring program that accepts vob files (the files that you would get from ripping the dvd) and then make your new disc. Tmpgenc Dvd Author is such a program.

    Once you have the clips you want you would start your vob-input compatible program and add your clips one at a time. You can make them sequential like a new movie but it would jump from cut to cut. You'd have to use an editing program to make the smooth transitions from scene to scene.

    You can also leave the clips as they are and just make them selectable from a menu. You'd have clip a be its own menu button, then clip b would get a menu button, and etc. etc....

    You can pretty much do it however you like. However you are limited to 99 clips per dvd title set as that is the dvd structure limit.
