    i am trying to make a SVCD. as the only format for PAL SVCD (25 frames/sec) that is standard is 480x576 my footage becomes vertically streched as the original is in 756x576. how can 480x576 be the standard resolution? no monitor has that format!! how can i produce a SVCD with the original format? (with VCD it works as the standard is 352x288 a scaled format of 756x576)

    maybe someone can help me.

    The dvd player(standalone dvd player or software dvd player) will "stretch" the video to correct aspect ratio.
