  3. sorry i can't see where with TMPGEnc will make the vcd into 2 smaller files instead of one big vcd file like take spiderman for example.I want to turn it into vcd with one vcd file the first half of movie and vcd file 2 the second half that way i won't have to compress the movie down so far that the image is distorted drastically.I am sorry for my ignorance and thanks for the assist.

  4. In TMPGEnc, file->mpeg tools->merge and cut. Add the file you want to cut, select the start and end points and click run. Make sure in the dropdown box you have selected mpeg video cd.

  5. the process i am looking for is before it is a MPEG in the coding process you know when you get the vob files and the audio file and you set TMPGEnc to make a vcd it will ask for range set to 100% will put out file around 780mb (1 file).then you burn with ex:nero...I am talking about when you set TMPGEnc to encode the vob files and the audio files to mpeg, vcd I want to get two end vcd files one the first part the other the second part of movie. Not split movie after changed to vcd the degrade has already occurred by then.
    thanks

  6. You can set the source range and do 2 encodes for the 2 seperate files, although splitting the file causes no degrade in quality from the mpeg (vcd) file you are creating anyway. So I don't see the problem.
