I write INTENSO DVD-R 4,7Gb disk but(write is sucssesfull)and it's not play (and not recognized) in LG 5083 stndalone player( player suppoted DVD-R and RW media) ; my Pioneer R-105 plays it correctly...
I think it's a Intenso media problem beacouse I copy that wrong disk to DVD-RW Verbatim and it play fine!
I write with InstantCD/DVD v.6.5 with 1x speed (burn process duration is 64minutes, and video duration is. 1h 42 minutes, 4,35 Gb )
Use anyone INTENSO DVD-R media for Pioneer R-105?

  2. Did you author it to be able to be played in a standalone DVD player, or did you just burn some video clips to the DVD as data.

  4. It may be that your DVD player is having problems reading intenso DVD-R, try the intenso disc in another DVD player and see if that can play it.

P.S. Post your question in 1 forum only.

Most players by LG are crap...

You should test recording with another sw, like Nero 5.5.9.17 or similar.
Intenso DVD-R/W are Ritek in general. Older ones could be burned @2x, newer ones only 1x with normal/official firmware.

If you use 2x4all and try to burn @2, they might be not playable/readable after burning. 8)
