I want to create my own backgrounds but what size do i make them??
When I use just a regular image it stretches it and it looked really bad! ANy help?

Usually you have to match the size or at least the aspect ratio of your background image to the video frame. So if you are doing NTSC VCD, use a photo editor (Adobe Elements, etc) to crop your picture to 352x240. If you are doing a DVD, crop or resize to 720x480. This should prevent the distortion you've been seeing.
