    I was thinking about getting my PS2 chipped and I was wondering what media you can use to backup your games. More specifically can I use DVD+R to backup the games? And what is the best modchip out?

    hello,

    i have a messiah chip in my ps2 and it works great.if you dont know how to solder I would send it out. Also I have backed up some dvd ps2 games with nero and used verbatim dvd+r and it has worked every time.You cant make a straight copy of it, you have to make an image first, then burn it to dvd.I hope that helps, or at least gets you started.

    I have a PS2 with a Magic2. I use verbatim dvd-rs and work perfect. I use PrimoDVD. Either the Global Image method or 1:1 backup work. Dont use Memorex media it sucks!

    hey all, i have a neokey usb, will the dvd+r work...

    my writer, the 200i did not come with primo where can i get it..

    i am hoping they will work with my current mod so i dont have to redo it..
