    I was getting 6-8X DVD-Speed using SMARTRIPPER on my LITEON 16X DVD player. Now im only getting approx. 2x on it when ripping 2 different movies. Any suggestions on where to look ( BIOS / WIN2000 / ETC ) to see where a setting got changed to cause this...???

    Are all movies ripping at that low speed, or just those? If the disc is dirty or damaged it can still be played and ripped, but ripping will be slower than usual because of the read errors.
