  1. I did a DVD2SVCD conversion, everything looks good but I want to change the start points for each chapter. Is there a way to do this? I still have all the files, including the final cue/bin files.

  2. Yes.

Let us assume that you only have the CUE/BIN files.

Use VCDXRIP to extract everything (I recommend you use VCDImager Tools GUI as a GUI: http://www.michaeltam.com/vcdimager_tools_gui.html

Open up the created XML file with a text editor (e.g., Notepad). Find the main video clip + chapters (it will be under <sequence-items> and it will be the one with lots of <entry> tags.

You can change the numbers under the entry tags (they are the entrypoint times in SECONDS). As long as you don't want to change the number of chapters, this is all you have to do. If you need to change the number of chapters as well, it gets a lot more complicated.

    Save the XML file.

Then use VCDXBUILD (again, use GNU VCDImager Tools if you don't like use command console tools) to create a new CUE/BIN image. Use whatever you normally burn CUE/BIN images with to make your new disc.

    Regards.
