A week ago I tried to capture, in VirtualDub, a part of Titanic, in VHS, to a church work, but I was not able to capture some parts of the movie... when virtualdub started capturing, a few seconds/minutes later, although It seems to be correct, when playing the film the scenes became like a BADLY PAUSED tape, only the sound was correct...
It was the first time I saw something like that, so I realized that the tape should be copy-protected... I had to cut the scenes and the work became more difficult, but I could extract the idea of the film...
Well, if I am right, so I remember that, some place this site, in forum, I have read something about a special ATI driver (tweaked) that was not copyrighted and I could use it to capture macrovision tapes....
Anyone here knows about it?
A functional link?
And what is the procedure to install the new driver? (over the old one? deinstalling the old before the new one?
Thanks,
Fredİ

There is a patcher in the tools section of this site I believe. If you tried any hard at all, you'd find it in seconds (using keywords like ATI, MMC, Macrovision...) Good luck.
