nero vision express?

heres my problem i have nero vision express and coughed up the $24 for the mpg-dvd codec now when i try and convert an mpg to dvd it gets all the way through the transcoding proscess and just as its about to burn it crashes with no error msg but the xp one that the program has had a problem and is shutting down.then when i try to use the program again it says neroapi locked so i cant save the project and need to reboot to get it working again... now after 3 days of this process i thought id ask for some help from the people who know the scene as nero themselves havent answered my emails ..no surprise there!!

any advice or help will be much appriciated

I think its a problem with xp itself and 2nd the software is too fresh... wait for an update.

I don't know how to use nerovision express but can you export your project to an image file instead of burning directly to a dvd disc and use a regular burning software to burn the image....

Have you tried making just a short movie that you know it will fit to the dvd and see if it do the same thing??

Just like to thank both of you for your replies and freebee22 i did what you said and it worked great when i saved to h/d but boy does it take a while, i think its a great program for anyone who knows sod all about dvd authouring and is especially good if you want to make your own dvds from home made mpg/avi/asf ect but be prepard to have it transcoding for 6hrs min and id expect it to take longer from avi ect rather then mpg.
quality is not perfect but i was trying to do other stuff on my comp at the time.
