I have found particullarly when encoding anime to SVCD, during playback there is a jerk when the screen scrolls in any direction over a short period of time. Screen will scroll a bit then jump slightly, continue scrolling and once again jump going on like this untill the scene is over, almost like its getting caught on something and slipping over it.
I used to think this was caused due to changing frame rates, however I know now that even if that does cause it , it isnt the cause here.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens and possibly a way to reduce its effect or even better remove it from playback?
I am using Pal 25 fps DVD to encode from and I have used various DivX files of both NTSC and Pal framerates. Happens with both, I havent really noticed it in non-animated movies though, is it something to do with anime?
thanks for reading
