  1. I've never done this before...I followed the instructions and got an unwatchable mess...I used Daemon-tools and the bin/cue works fine...can someone walk me through exactly what to do with VCDEasy...

Also, I'm pretty sure I used Daemon-tools correctly to check it out...I mounted the image and then browsed the virtual drive where it was mounted and then played the dat file with my player of choice...if it plays correctly then it's all good right? Then what did I do wrong with VCDEasy? I usually use Nero, but I heard that there were problems with earlier versions in burning Bin/Cue's...

I don't want to make another coaster if I can help it...

  2. I'd recommend CDRWin or BlindWrite for burning those files. I think you can down load a 1X demo version of CDRWin just to find out if your bin and cues are alright.

  3. (1) What exactly did you do when you tried to "burn" your image with VCDEasy.

    (2) Are you sure that your DVD player supports CD-R/W media? If it doesn't say so explicitly in the manual, it doesn't. To see if you have a media compatibility problem, burn an audio CD on the same media to see if that plays properly on your player.

  4. I've made a bunch of vcd/svcd/cvd CD-R/RW's so that can't be the problem...

    What did I do exactly?

Tools--->CDRAO Tools...loaded up the image into the Burn an Image section and clicked Burn. I'm pretty sure that was the extent of the instructions in the FAQ I used, which I can't seem to find at this point...

    1. If VCDEasy reckons that your ASPI layer is not valid, then download and install ForceASPI (and then reboot!)
    2. If it is valid (or it still doesn't work), try changing the driver from "default" to "generic-mmc" or "generic-mmc-raw". These two drivers should work for essentially all newer internal IDE burners.
