  1. Hi,

i apologize if this has been asked bfor - i still trying to figure out search on this forum.

I'm looking for a ATi tv Wonder driver for Win2000 that allows to capture with 640x480 resolution. The default driver with MMC7.1 only allows 640x240 res.

I tried btwincap driver - but it gives me no sound. My Ati Tv wonder is a white box with Temic 4036(FY5) for tuner instead of the phillips one.

    thank you,

  2. allright, sorry for the above post - i guess i was too impatient.

I did find a solution for my prblem:

i loaded up btwincap drivers for capture with 640x480 res. And i read in one of the posts that i could use the composite connector and tuner in my VCR to get better capture quality - so i'll try that.

plus i loaded up the latest Dscaler for viewing tv. These forums are pretty nice - i'm glad i found this place.

    thank you,

  3. wow!

i just tried using my VCR to feed the video thru the composite connector on the card. What a huge difference!

The picture is crystal clear and the colours are so much better now. This is going to be the only way to capture from now on.

thanx to this forum for the ideas!

Does the driver really let you capture video with 640x480res in MMC?? Which Version?? cus i m thinking that software would let you do this w/o any driver update... please tell.
