  1. Hello!
I have ripped quite a lot of DVDs to DVDr keeping some choosen extra stuff and the original menus with excellent quality in my oppinion.

I have used IFO edit and REMPG2 and some other small apps in this procedure with great result.
But I resently encouterd a problem with Time Machine, when I try to transcode it in REMPG2 the final result gets jerky.

I have read in some forums that Warner Brothers (their loggo in the begging) has some kind of trick to foul the transcode app.
I´ve tried both REMPG2 and TMPGenc..
REMPG2 result is really bad but the sound is in sync.
TMPGenc result is ok but I cant get the sound to sync when I remux it back when its done with TMPG.

Conclusion, Is there someone that encounterd the same problem and has a solution? (different app, other settings or whatever)

Btw: Im using this method http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm

    Regards Ozone!

  2. Rempeg is a messy business, don't get me wrong it is a great program but abit long in the tooth and not updated. Every warner title i tried to do with rempeg never worked. TMPGenc won't mux back properly with ifoedit at least i never got it to. Best method is using cce and dvd maestro u can still reauthor with very little effort and incorporate the orignal menu using ifoupdate a wonderful tool. Check out www.doom9.org for a cce dvd maestro guide.
