I have Nero V 5, I have encoded all the files using pal resolution, I ahve also set the resolution on nero to pal. then I tried it on three differnt dvd players and none it didnt work. Could someone please help me???

Have you checked the DVD players you tested in the DVD Player compatibility list on this site? There you should see if they actually do play VCD's (I presume that's what you're trying to make) and on which media they should be burnt.

Should you still be using Nero version 5.0.1.8 or below I would suggest a free upgrading to version 5.5.3.5. @

If after above you are still having problems, check if the CD-R(W) burnt will play the *.dat file in the MPEGAV directory in windows media player and if the standalone DVD players give you any sort of message like "no disc" etc.
