A strange question. For xmas, I've gotten my wife a blu-ray player and a bunch of discs I know she wants. The player is a Panasonic, and has a usb jack in front as it also plays .mkv files. Tried out 3 mkvs (not created by me); one plays beautifully, but the other 2 prompt the message "cannot play protected DIVX content". DIVX?? All of these files are mkvs, and all play great in my little Micca media player. But the blu-ray player is reading two of them as "protected Divx". So I'm wondering if any experts out there have a clue what would make an mkv read as a divx, and why it would be protected. Thanks.
