I am new to convert Divx to MPEG2 format for DVD. I just use Ulead DVD MovieMaker to convert several divx files(they are about 480x360 res) to High bitrate DVD. Once those files were converted, I used the Ulead programs to author and burn the episodes. The episodes are subtitled animes. The problem was that there were "cutoff," most of the subtitles are gone, only the top half of the subtitles are seen. The whole anime wasn't shown on TV. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried using TMPGEnc to encode to DVD format?
Hello. -
I tried that and the same problem occurred. Is there any setting in TMPGEnc that will let you add a black bar to the sides to maintain aspect ratio so that the whole screen can be displayed??? Or change the aspect ratio so that the whole thing can be seen? Right now, only the bottom part of the movie isn't shown on TV, I can't see the subtitles... But they are there on the computer.
