  1. I am using a Creative Video Blaster Movie Maker & i want to use Vdub instead of its stupid software to capture a vid from a PS2 console. But everytime I click capture avi vdub always the vid cap drive is not available. What do u think I should do???

    Alas, VirtualDub will not work with real video input devices and real video files used by real people in the real world. The solution?
    Send ferocious e-amil to the author to VirtualDub asking him to
    fix his grossly defective software.

    WoW.. MY Captures aren't real, and I don't live in the real world!!!! and OMG!!! I'm not a real person!!!. How about everyone email Xed asking him to fix his Grossly defective Brain!!

    Well, by looking at all your posts, looks like 50% of what you post are whining about Virtualdub, which is a great tool. U're the only one I remember whining about it here... Must be you, works for everyone else. Quit your whining already.

    try installing the wrapper found here:

    http://faq.arstechnica.com/subcat.php?i=95

    It's a registry entry for VidDrivers, VDub usually can't find the drivers without it.
