i have recently started having major problems when trying to rip a wav from an avi in virtual dub. it will decode the first minute or so creating a wav file of around 30mb and then say it is complete. i have tried using tmpgenc, and that creates a full size wav file that shows up on winamp as the length of the avi file, but again it only has sound for the first minute or so. it seems to me there must be an issue with the audio codec but i have no idea what. i cant think of anything ive installed recently that would have messed anything up. any ideas??

If nothing else try the divxfix program and run it... then try again in virtual dub if that doesn't work the file is probably bad
