  1. I've converted many vids with tmpgenc but lately whenever I try to convert dv avi to svcd I get a "Not enough memory" error in tmpgenc! This usually happens at the 35-45% mark during the encode. I have a fast machine (1700+ w/ 768DDR ram) and have never had this problem before. Could this be a problem with the more recent versions of tmpgenc?

Seriously now you need to upgrade to the latest version which of this post is v2.58.44.152 and your problem should go away.

  6. So a newer version might help...Hmmm

"If you are using the "Multipass" method it stores the info from the passes in the system cache.
    Needs lots of HD space"

Mayby a older version and more disk space might help.I got v2.58 and released more disk space ..and it all worked out fine.
