    If i make a VCD or SVCD will the picture be small when i go to play it on a DVD player? I want it to take up the hole screen not just half. Hope that makes sense!

    Huh? I make VCD's all the time. They take up the whole screen. Only the top and bottom have any borders, and the only reason for that is that I clip off the "PICVIDEO" banner....

    If the original is full screen, it will be full screen on a VCD.

    If the original is widescreen / letterboxed on a 4:3 TV, it will be letterboxed on a VCD.
