Best DVD Authoring software

I'm sure this has been posted a thousand times but I'm new to the forum and would rather not search through all the posts. Anyhow. Right now I use Sonic DVDIt! and it's an OK program, I have a pretty big project and I get errors everytime i try to make a master DVD, or burn for that matter and the program just shuts down. Maybe I'm trying to do too much in the program?? I'm not sure. But anyway, I want to know what's the best DVD Authoring software I can get?? What about Sonic ReelDVD?? I tried to install it and it won't even install. I have Win XP Pro. Maybe I need Win2k? I'm hearing that Ulead MovieFactory is good. Any other suggestions? I'm doing pretty big projects and need something stable and reliable. I have aPhilips 228 DVD+R/DVD+RW drive. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
