    which is better and/or faster. Possibly you could explain the differences also. I'm not sure I gaet it

    No, I can not, because I have not tested LanczosResize yet. LanczosResize is supposed to return quite a sharp image as bicubicResize at high c values do. That is not the best solution if one shrinks an image and convert to MPEG at low bitrates (SVCD) as I do. That's why this filter can wait.
