  1. I know for a faCT THAT DivX is the shiznit. i'm download ing Jurassic Park 3 right now. I'm talking about file sizes on your hard drive. I have a 7 minute clip of Scary Movie 2 and its about 25 Mb. if i converted it to VCD would it be smaller. I haven't converted an entire movie yet because ?I haven't downloaded an entire movie. please dont close this topice because of the use of words like "downloaded, movie, DivX, and or Jurassic Park 3". i just want to see if it's Better to put the DivX codec on a cd with one movie or a vcd with two one movie on two discs. And another thing, where can I get a regular sized 2 cd case like the 2Pac cds?

  2. If you encode it to VCD it will be bigger if you want the same quality. This is becase DivX encodes a file really well. My suggestion would be to burn as a DivX file with the codec unless you want to watch it on a stand alone player and if you like menus. As for the CD cases it depends where you live. Best bet is to buy them off the internet.

  4. So encoding 4 minutes would result in 40 megs? It didn't, i encoded 4:40 minute music video at a higher bitrate than vcd and it resulted at 38.7Mb.
