  1. Hi,

    Anyone else come across this:

I have a perfect image, (plays fine, from HD) however when burnt to DVD-R it stops playing about 2/3 through. It's not an instant "stop" more a slow degradation .. i.e. jitters, macro progressively worse followed by total stop?

I've tried different discs, different players... different images.. 1x and 2x in multiple programs? which leads me to hardware ??? I have written non mpeg DVD's and they seem to be fine.

Ideas on a post card to the usual address.

    I'm using a Pioneer DVD 104, and currentlly Gen4 White Label Disc's..

    Thanks.

  2. It's known as Bad Media. You probably got a bad Blank. so the outer edge doesn't playback very well.I had 25 of them. Solved it by making sure my rips were under 3.5gb that way the outer edge wasn't used.

  3. Jeez,

Tried a different disk and guess what ..... it works.

So I've got 40 White Label Gen4 disks that are probably all going to fail after writing

    Shit.

    But thx for the suggestion.
