I'm new to this forum and VCD/video capturing, so please bear with me. I'm using a Dazzle DVC 80 and CyberLink's PowerVCR II 3.0 Pro to capture into MPEG files. The video has been fine, and I've managed to tweak and play with the settings enough to get things the way I want them, but I've not been able to solve my audio out-of-sync problem. It's out-of-sync right from capture (gradually getting more so farther into the file), and I have checked elsewhere on this forum and tried some of the suggested remedies, but to no avail. In another forum I read something about setting the priority in my Microsoft PCM at "1", but that also seemed to do no good. Does anyone have any other suggestions, know of any settings I could check or adjust, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may need a time base corrector. This is a common problem if your source material is a VHS tape. Try capturing to an avi codec through virtualdub and see if you still have synch problems.
