  1. Is there anything I can do to get my DVD player to play my VCD's. I burned one that plays on my computer, but when I try to play it on my DVD player it starts trying to read and stops after one 0, and then after awhile says this type of disc cannot be played even though my manual says it will play VCD's

When your player says it will play VCDs, it is talking about commercially sold VCDs. To see if your player will play your home made ones, look up your player in the DVD Player database at left. By the way, in actuality, your home-spun VCD is a CD-R to a DVD player. Good luck!

Never mind what the manual says for now. Check the database to see what your fellow owners say about your player. If you had told me earlier, I would have looked in the database for you, but you can still do it yourself, if you like.
