I'm looking for information on how to make a DVD disc containing only music which is playable in my Pioneer DVD525. I tried Nero the way I make normal audio CD's but this is not posible and next I tried instantCD+DVD but that doesn't works also. It looks like it should be posible with instantCD+DVD but when I start burning I get this message:

"Track 1 can not be written using the sector mode:
Audio using the selected write method."

    Used DVD+RW is Philips DVDRW228

    Thanx,

DVD do not support cd audio. You can make dvd audio but that is something entirely different than cd audio, I have no idea how you do it and it requires that your dvd player supports it. Or you could make a dvd-video with only audio, like for example a menu/backgrounds with audio or a blank video with audio.

    Hi Baldrick,

So like I already thought it's not really possible, at least not like CD-audio, to create your own DVD-audio! But I really think it's strange that the mentioned program "InstantCD+DVD" does shows the options of DVD audio but after burning it give the error.

    See screendump:
