Search the site, same problems for my Ti4400 and WinXP, I basically don't use VD for capture. You can use a wrapper but in imo it's not wortht the hassels.

This is a common problem.
vdub dos not directly support WDM capture as it is designed for vfw (video for windows) capture.
The solutions are available in the FAQ file in the capture forum at www.doom9.org and at the virtualdub homesite.
Basically, you have to install vfwwdm.dll and make registry entries for vdub to work.
PM me if you stll have problems after reading all FAQ's on th subject
Good luck and happy surfing the FAQ,s -
My advice is to dump virtualdub because it isn't really made for your card. My understanding is that Virtualdub is based on the VFW drivers. You're better off using iuVCR to capture. iuVCR is made for Windows XP and the WDM drivers. Nvidia cards support the WDM drivers so you have a perfect match. You should be able to capture with iuVCR using any codec you have installed on your system. It works great on my NVidia G4Ti4600 card (MSI) with video in.
After you capture in AVI format you can then load the file in VirtualDub and do whatever you want with it. VitrualDub is a great program, but its just not made for capturing using NVidia drivers. You have to cheat a bit to get it to work by using a wrapper that bridges the VFW/WDM gap. The wrapper then seriously hampers your ability to capture. There is no need for any of this if you use iuVCR.
