I would appreciate a dialog with anyone who has experience with WDM programming; I
am hoping to patch 'btwincap' to fix some chipset related bugs, and I have been studying
the DDK stream driver function and structures reference, inspected the drivers' source
code and am confused regarding declarations or lack thereof for a hardware clock source.

I won't post details here until someone replies that they can have a discussion in this
forum on some basic points (something that probably could be solved in a five-minute
IRC session, if there were an appropriate channel).
