Error message in Vdub

I am trying to open an ASF file in Vdub 1.3 and at the end I get the following error "Couldn't locate decompressor for format `MP43`, Microsoft High Speed MPEG4 v3"

What do I need?

And please don't say download the NIMO Codec Pack...

why not, if you don't have, it does solve a lot of codec problems. If you already have it then just say so!

Anyway, the simplest way to get any MS codec is to play the .avi whilst your PC is connected to the 'net. WMP will download and install the codec for you.

The reason I said No to Nimo Pack, Is it caused bad problems for me, after install all my mpeg2 files played upside down.. So I unistalled it, and it uninstalled all my codecs (the ones I had b4 I installed NIMO)..

I tried variuos intalls of nimo and none of em worked for me.

So now I just want to install them as needed, I wanted to know which one I needed in this case..

Get this prog, it will tell you which codecs you need for most video files.
