Capturing DVD video from a DVD Standalone Player with ATIAIW

Is There Any Way to capture a DVD Movie from a DVD standalone player using the ATI All In Wonder card?

I've Tried it many times, and I just capture all the audio, and only 30 seconds of video. I've treid using the S-VIDEO input of the card, the COMPOSE input, and inclusive using the RF input of the card (using a VCR as bridge). The Software I Use is the digital VCR that came with the Card, that can be use for capturing from digital cameras, and from TV signals.

I wasn't able to capture from a standalone player with my aiw128 as well; the problem is macrovision protection.
there is a trick to disable macrovision using ati cards, make a search in the forum (key disable macrovision or something like that), but for me the trick didn't work.

The ATI Macrovision Removal patch is designed for NT, it did NOT work for me under 98, but it DID work under XP pro, at least for the 30-second loop effect that seems to occur on almost all DVD's.

This patch did NOT cure the brightness variance which I get on VCR tapes, however the $39.95 Sima Copymaster cured this problem.

Forgot to mention this - Get a DVD drive for the PC and rip the DVD rather than capture, quality is significantly better this way.
