Maybe I posted in wrong area before, but doesn anyone know how to do the following in Adobe Premier 6.5:

1. Food compressed saving! If I capture a nice long .avi file using say the Morgan Media Codec I am having problems saving after I edit and crop the file. If I export as a MPEG2 file for SVCD burning (tried all kind of settings, various VBR's .. etc) the finished file pales in comparison to the same file encoded with TMGEnc. Has someone found good settings for this?

If I edit the original capture .avi then save it as a native .avi file then use TMGEnc, it still doesn't look great because Premier has re-encoded it losing the quality from the original Morgan Codec compression.

So how can I take my clean edited captured .avi file and convert it to a nice SVCD mpeg2 file?

2. Is there a good forum dedicated to Adobe Premier?

3. Are there good online tutorials for Adobe Premier (beyond the manuals)? Google pops up a few but the more the merrier...
