Hey guys,
I just ripped memento with dvd decrypter then i stripped the VOB's with ifoedit and it came out to 4.5 gigs. Anyone know what i have to do to make it fit to a dvdr ? this is frusterating and i am probably missing something. Thanks

First of not all movies will fit onto a dvd-r by stripping out the extras and audio some movies have a high average bitrate and can't fit on even when stripped. Look at the vob ids and see how many are required to run the movie and scene selection pages. Watch what your doing though cause if you strip the wrong id the movie may be unplayable. If you can't strip it far enough you will have to reencode the main movie and i recommend you use Cinema Craft encoder to reduce the bitrate as remmpeg is too old to hold up quality wise. Of course you will also have to reauthor using scenarist or maestro. If you are unsure of this try doom9.org from some wvery helpful guides in using these tools to create complete backups of dvd's including the xtras.
