ok, sorry
I am converting an AVI into SVCD, using extracted audio (VDub).
And I have scanned the avi for errors. -
robomonkey,
More details please. Are you running into the problem at the start or somewhere further along in the encoding process?Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack -
Sorry I don't know what else to put.
Audio and video are seperate files
VBR 2520|2520|1000 max|avg|min
Full Screen Keep aspect Ratio
16:9 display
other than that all the settings are default.
It is on a 2 job batch encode, both jobs failed after approximately 1 hour (I suspect after the first pass of VBR).
I initially had a problem with Xvid and VFW codec but I installed the full NIMO pack and that solved that error.
Sorry for being vauge but I'm not really sure what info is relevant or not
But thanks your help -
Is the avi file in question Xvid?. If so follow this guide for the correct settings in TMPGEnc: http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/119019.php
If this fails you might want to try and frameserve it thru VirtualDub following this guide: http://www.vcdhelp.com/virtualdubframeserve.htmWarning! I'm baaaaaaaaack
