  1. WELL, after a week of troubleshooting in burning blu-ray disk and lots of help from everyone, i have come to a standstill on this following issue. i burn /i verify/i play on my player but.....

Power DVD claims "Pointer error 80004003" when i try to playback MY OWN bluray disk that i just made (and just played in my bluray player) as well as new disks.

I have read 10 posts about this issue on various application levels. Power DVD is one of them.
Seemingly NOBODY has suggested a true fix. NOBODY has grasped exactly why this is happening so i beg anybody to please put down a reply of any sort if you have had trouble with a pointer and FIXED IT perhaps ?

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT GUYS !! (and girls of course)

Maybe it's just a bad version or install of PowerDVD.

  3. SOLVED IT !!!!!

it was my video card - ATI 4550 HD - thought to check driver version and it was 4 months o.o.d.(NOT MUCH BUT ENOUGH)

Common details i read in all various posts was in the system specs....singled-out ATI cards so i went to their site.

updated / reboot and voila !

[i guess nothing is impossible...and i didn't have to replace any hardware...! ]
