I have a 23 minutee HuffUV encoded video I have captured off of VHS. When I drop it into TMPGenc for SVCD conversion, the last wizard screen shows it being 46 minutes.
Process Used:
Wizard Super Video-CD, CBR 2520 kbps (35min/650MB)
Video File: HuffYV encoded 480x480, uncompressed sound (44.1 16 bit st)
Encode Mode: Interlace
On wizard screen 4/5:
Bitrate Setting
Movie Info: 480x480 29.97 fps / 441000 Hz Stereo/ 46 min 25 sec
File Size: 926.81 MB
If I burn a smaller part of the file (still shows up as 2x time), it plays fine on the SVCD player. The resulting files looks about 2x the size I would expect it to be.
What is going on here with the time and size? Is this is a known problem?
Thanks

Use source range and cut the movie exact. Under step 3 click on source range.

Baldrick, I read your posting thinking "He's misunderstood my question". But when I tried it, setting the start to the start of the file, and the end to the end of the file, and now magically it shows up as the correct 22:30 in the next window! Even though it's the same coverage as before. Weird. Well, whatever works.
Thanks!
