    Basically, it's for converting AVI (captured from my camcorder), to MPEG1. Which one of the three encoders does everyone recommend and why? So far, I've used AVI2VCD with great success.

    tmpgenc - because it looks the best out of the three. its really easy and does pretty good with avi
