I work for a large corporation, and have been doing internal webcasting/streaming for years. Looking to purchase some travelling encoders for shows I do all over the country. Needs to be durable, smaller in size(for shipping) and stream WMV. I have used viewcast Gostreams in the past, but have not had good luck. Anyone have any recomendations? Currently I am using a shuttle box I built with WME on it, but its not built to be shipped around all the time.

While some VideoHelp members are professionals, most are not (including myself) and would have no direct experience with the type of product you want.
If nobody comes up with better information, a Google search for "streaming media VC-1 hardware encoder" turned up this article, which provides a list of companies that may make the type of stand-alone solution you are trying to find. http://www.onlinevideo.net/2011/10/a-buyers-guide-to-encoding-and-transcoding-products/Last edited by usually_quiet; 28th Mar 2012 at 11:29.
