Hi All![]()
I can play DivX movies fine without any problems on my notebook, the only thing I would like to do is to be able to amplify the volume. Even with all volume settings to max the sound isn't as loud as I would like it. I don't really want to carry around portable speakers and I know the built in speakers would cope if the sound was a bit louder. I was thinking there maybe utilities to be able to amplify the sound or codec settings?
Thanks,
RV

Load the video into Gold Wave. Use Effect-->Volume. save as wave.
Load the original video into TMPGEnc as Video input, and the increased Volume as input audio. Select File-->Output to File-->AVI File. Name your new file, select your favorite codecs, select Save, and voilá!Hello.
