Ok,
I currently have the Canopus ADVC-1394, but I would like to be able to send out my finished projects back to VHS.
I can get an ADS Instand DVD for next to nothing. Will this work just to send the output back to VHS? How would it work?
Thanks

There are two ways to do it. One, you use a bundled program call CapWiz to play your output video while sending it to your VCR. You have to connect your video out and audio out cables to your vcr's video in and audio in connectors respectively. There is usually an auxillary channel on your VCR for this function.
Or you can also use Ulead Video Studio 6 (also bundled) to do the same thing.
Either way, once the video starts playing, just start recording on your VCR.Hello.
