  1. i use smartripper to take the video and audio data of my DVDs but for some strange reason the last week my DVD drive is too slow 0.4 K yet the last time i ripped it was about 6.8k take about 5-10 mins for complete RIP .

    Now takes about 1-1.30 hrs

  2. 1) your dvd-rom drive wearing down..maybe getting old or broken

    2) make sure you clean the bottom of your dvd, any scratches, dust, dirt, etc...will slow down ripping

    3) some dvds are just slower to rip

    Make sure DMA didn't get turned off on your drive.

    Did you change any options in smartripper?
    There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.
