Does anybody kow about having an American computer overseas. I know I need a transformer, but do I get one based on watts ? If I want to hook up a 300w computer and another transformer, how large a transformer do I need ?

Check to see if your computer power supply has a voltage switch. If it does all you need (for the CPU portion) is to flip the switch and get a different power cord. I think most computer power supplies have this. You will probably need a transformer for the rest of your stuff unless it also has a voltage switch.
