I'm copying a couple of discs for my sister and when I remove the copyright warning with IFOEdit and replaced the new VTS and IFO files I get an "Illegal Naviagtion" warning when playing it back in IfoEdit's DVD player. However, if I substitute only the stripped VOB file and play this I get "A file could not be read/found" but playback continues normally. I've checked the original VOB's IFO file and it shows the pointers to VOBID 1, 2 and 3, with ID 1 being the copyright logo. When I check the stripped VOB's IFO it shows the right length for the remaining VOB IDs and theses have been moved from their previous numbers of 2 and 3 to 1 and 2 respectively. I've followed Derrow's and Doom9's guides closely but the copyright in this case is in the vts_01_0.vob and not in the video_ts.vob like the the examples. I''ve also follow the "delete playback" guide on Derrow's site to no avail. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what the results of this will be on a DVD-RW but I wanted to know if there are any other workarounds, solutions to this.
