Hi all,
When I hardsub (using the VOBSub textsub filter) an .avi file with an .srt file using VirtualDub, I typically change my font size, text color, and outline parameters and this works just fine for a single job.
But when I run a batch job VirtualDub apparently doesn't retain these settings and hardsubs my .avi files using the default settings... Is there a way to force VirtualDub and/or VOBSub to use my subbing parameters all the time or at least during the batch run?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.![]()

How?
All you can set is the charset.
The way to go is to create ssa subs. Use aegisub.
You could also create style files.
Either using say subresynch from vobsub,
or creating the styles in aegisub, saving an ssa sub, opening the ssa file
and ripping the header to create a separate text file. so you have so:
sample.srt
sample.srt.style
create a few styles,
make a copy for each srt with required style, rename.
it's easier to just convert to ssa
